Validity and responsibility

The information in this manual applies exclusively to the robot (partly completed machinery) included in the scope of supply. This manual does not describe all peripheral devices or any other equipment required for the installation and operation of the entire system.

The entire system must comply with the standards and regulations of the country in which it is operated. The integrator and operator of the robot are responsible for ensuring compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of the respective country and for adequately eliminating all hazards throughout the entire system. These include, among other things:

  • Performance of a risk assessment for the entire system, including the robot system.
  • Connection of additional safety devices in accordance with the requirements of the risk assessment.
  • Setup and configuration of safety functions.
  • Ensure that operators and unauthorized persons cannot alter the safety measures.
  • Verify that the entire system is installed correctly.
  • Establishing instructions for the operation and use of the entire system.
  • Label the entire system with warning labels in accordance with the risk assessment and the integrator's contact information.
  • Compilation of all technical documentation in accordance with the Machinery Directive or Machinery Regulation.
