Personal protective equipment

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is designed to protect employees from hazards that could compromise their safety or health at work.

When performing work on the system, personnel must wear personal protective equipment. These are specifically mentioned in the individual sections of this guide. The following section explains this personal protective equipment:

  • Be sure to put on the personal protective equipment specified in the various sections of this manual before beginning the respective task.
  • Follow the instructions regarding personal protective equipment posted in the work area.
