Triggering the emergency stop​

  • ✓ In an emergency, press the emergency stop button to stop the system.
  • ► Press the emergency stop button.
  • ► The emergency stop button engages when pressed.
    • ⇨ The system is in a safe operating state. All movements are stopped immediately.
    • ⇨ The control system prevents the system from restarting unintentionally.
    • ⇨ The illuminated selector switch on the control unit remains in the <ON> position.
    • ⇨ The 24 volt power supply remains on.
  • ⇒ The emergency stop function has been triggered.

Resetting the emergency stop​

Note

The emergency stop function may only be reset by appropriately trained and authorized personnel.

  • ✓ Once the emergency has passed and no one is in the danger zone of the system, you may reset the emergency stop function.
  • ► Turn the cap on the emergency stop button and, at the same time, pull the emergency stop button back to its original position.
  • ► Press the <Safety Reset> button on the control unit or the external safety reset button to reset the emergency stop function.
  • ⇒ The emergency stop function has been reset. The process must be restarted.

If the emergency stop function cannot be reset, stop working on the system. Notify the maintenance staff and your supervisor.
