Visual inspection and inspection during operation

Visual inspection of mechanical components

Perform the following visual inspections:

  • ► Inspect the system and all components for external damage, loose or missing screws, damaged cables or leaks (oil, coolant or air).
  • ► Check all safety devices, external moving parts and protective covers for visible damage.
    • ⇨ If you notice any contamination or damage, correct it or arrange for it to be corrected.
  • ⇒ The visual inspection of the mechanical components of the system is complete.

Inspections during operation

  • ► Acoustic inspection during operation to check for unusual operating noises:
    • ⇨ A significant increase in noise level between maintenance intervals may indicate that a module is nearing the end of its service life.
    • ⇨ If you notice unusual operating noises coming from a module, replace the module.
  • ⇒ The inspections during operation have been completed.

Visual inspection of electrical components

Perform the following visual inspections:

  • ✓ Automatic mode has been stopped, and a safe operating state has been established.
  • ► Check all cables and connectors for external damage, including cuts, kinks, or chafing.
    • ⇨ If you notice any damage, repair it or have it repaired.
  • ⇒ The visual inspection of the electrical components of the system is complete.
