Inspecting and maintaining mechanical components

Check the mechanical components of the system regularly and perform the necessary maintenance.

If the mechanical components are damaged, take the system out of service immediately and arrange for it to be repaired by a qualified technician.

Inadequate maintenance leads to increased wear and higher maintenance costs.

► Perform the necessary maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

► Follow the manufacturer's instructions for maintaining the mechanical components.

Maintenance of connecting terminals​

The connection terminals on the robot arm must be checked regularly.

  • ✓ The entire system is turned off and locked to prevent it from being turned back on.
  • ► Check that the mounting screws on the connection terminals are tight and tightened to the specified torque values (see Drive modules).
  • ► If necessary, tighten the mounting screws to the specified torque.
