Ethernet
The Ethernet ports can be used for:
- MODBUS, UDP and TCP
- Connecting a programming device
- Connecting a Peripheral Device
They can be used to connect a PC or tablet for programming and, if necessary, one or more peripheral devices. The peripheral port is factory-set to the static IP address 192.168.1.1. This IP address can be configured in RobFlow.
A PC connection is required to control the robot and set it up for operation. The PC connection has a DHCP server and assigns an IP address in the 192.168.3.* range to a connected device. You should therefore disable the static IP settings on the connected device.

Hazards caused by uncontrolled robot movements
Ethernet cables must be equipped with connectors that comply with IP54 to ensure that the robot system meets the IP rating.
Unused RJ45 ports must be sealed to maintain the IP rating.
Failure to comply with the IP rating may result in uncontrolled robot movements and serious personal injury.
► Use only Ethernet cables with an IP54 rating.
► Cover any unused RJ45 ports.
