Grounding

To ensure that the modular robot system can be operated safely, functions properly and complies with EMC standards, proper grounding must be ensured:

  • The robot and control unit must be connected to a suitable ground.
  • The robot must be mounted on a surface that is connected to ground.
  • The control unit must be connected to this surface via the marked M6 ground terminal.
  • Both connections must be sized to accommodate the maximum system current, but may not be smaller than 6 mm².
