Commissioning

Before you turn on and start the system for the first time, check the following items one by one:

  • Was the installation completed in full, including the final inspections?
  • Have all safety devices been installed?

WARNING

Risks associated with improper installation

Improper installation or the use of unauthorized components can result in uncontrolled robot movements and serious injury or death.

► Before turning on the power, make sure all cables are properly connected. Use only the original power cord.

► Ensure that the entire robot system is properly grounded. Use the unused screws from the ground terminal of the control unit to establish a common ground for all devices in the system. The actual current in this system may not fall below the maximum permissible current of the system.

► Ensure that the input power is protected by an RCD and an appropriate fuse.

WARNING

Danger due to missing safety devices

Missing protective covers can result in serious injuries.

► Reinstall any protective covers that may have been removed during installation before putting the system into operation.

► Check all safety devices before starting the system.
