What to expect
Understanding the impact of Calibration is a complicated topic, so some guiding examples are given to help with intuition / comprehension.
A simple reference model is the following: Calibration fixes the shape of what the Robot does. Teaching the reference frame (RobFlow: Workspace) fixes where that shape is in the world.

The numbers in each panel give the expected mean error for that combination: the left value applies to an 800x800 mm grid, the right value to a 300x300 mm grid. For example, a calibrated Robot combined with Workspace referencing reaches a mean error of about 3 mm across an 800x800 mm grid and about 1 mm across a 300x300 mm grid.
