Add Calibration Sample
Requires the RobCalib add-on.
This Node will add a calibration sample to the calibration samples list each time it is run. A sample consists of the Robot Pose and the detected Calibration Target Pose at the time when the Node was called.
Sample collection tips
If the target can not be detected, a sample will not be added. Therefore, it is important to make sure the calibration target remains visible as much as possible while collecting samples.
In general, around 80 samples are needed for a good calibration, with the most important factor being variation in joint space. It is recommended to create a Flow where many (>4) different joint configurations are used for collecting samples, even if the positioning of the camera/Robot makes it difficult to get much variation in cartesian space. This can be achieved e.g. by rotating the entire base or wrist 180 degrees to cover the full joint space.
The collected samples can be inspected in the Optimize tab.
