Getting Started

Follow these pages in order to go from an unconnected Control Unit to a PLC that is exchanging live data with the Robot.

1. Connect Profinet to the Robot — the physical connection.
2. TIA Portal Setup — import the GSDML, add the device to the project, assign its Profinet device name, and confirm data is flowing.
3. TIA Demo Project — optional: a ready-made project with an HMI to explore what the interface can do.

Along the way you will need two tasks from the How-to Guides: importing the .udt datatypes and importing the function block.
